This week, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch two movies titled Cave. Both had promise, and both fail to live up to that promise. Further disappointing is the total lack of lists about movies set deep underground.
I've got to add one of my old favorites to the underground movies list - the 1972 made for tv Gargoyles. Yes it starts above ground and stays above ground for quite some time but the final act takes place in the huge cave system that the gargoyles are using as their nursery. Maybe you had to see it when it was first shown back then but its' remained a must-watch for me.
Count, if'n you're ever in central Connecticut look me up and I'll bring you to Will Warren's Den, a local boulder cave that would make a good starter for you.
