This week on TheAvod, your friends Count Vardulon and DM watch TV. They also watch two (more) haunted asylum movies and something called Biker Zombies from Detroit that features an impressive amount of bikers but little else of note. Greystone Park proves that talent is not hereditary, and Grave Encounters 2 is half a good movie. Tune in to find out who's got the best haunted house, and stay to hear a reading from Loverboy.
Hatchet 3 has a similar scene to BZfromD where the screen writer plays a drunken mardis gras guy who gets arrested and is in the cell next to Danielle Harris as she explains what happened in the previous Hatchet flicks to Zach Galligan who then points out how ridiculous and nonsensical those events are. the writer looks a bit offended by Galligan's reaction.
ReplyDeletelol He should be offended. For having had to write that crap to begin with. I'm not a fan of Hatchet, is what I'm saying.
DeleteHmmm...Biker Zombies from Detroit sounds pretty poor compared to Chopper Chicks in Zombietown which certainly lives up to its title. I'll avoid Greystone Park as i would have anyway as it immediately made me think of Yogi Bear which I'm sure was a horrible movie. I did watch Grave Encounters - if a local library gets a dvd of the sequel (never happen) I'll watch it for the second half - that's what scene selection is for.
ReplyDeleteAgents of SHIELD has been fun so far, the Whedon is strong in it.
