128 - Topless Sensibilities

This week your friends Count Vardulon and DM take a look at three "priestly" movies.  In a surprising turn of events, all three films turn out to be very watchable, and your hosts go out of their way to not completely ruin the movies for those who haven't seen them.  In other, less surprising news, the Conan "remake" proves to be a big waste of 3D money.

127 - Beyond the Game

...and we don't mean the terrible movie with Michael Douglass.  No, we're talking video game movies.  Specifically, anime video game movies.  Even more to the point, we mean Dante's Inferno, Dead Space: Aftermath, and Resident Evil: Degeneration.  Which one is based on Dante and which one features the worst CG animation ever?  The answer might surprise you.  In other news, DM is woefully out of touch with genre releases and TV shows, and the Count loves Tony Todd.  Click here to watch cat-themed murder!

Poll Results: Would you like to hear more haiku movie reviews?  It's a good thing most of you do, because the Count is still writing them.

126 - Lies About Jeremy Sisto

This week DM's hair looks great and Count Vardulon presents a movie review haiku.  For reasons that will become clear, the duo tackle three Dean R. Koontz books-cum-movies.  How good is Thomas Hayden Chruch?  How crazy is Grace Zabriski?  And how young is Jeremy Sisto?  The answers lie within.

Poll Results: Half of you are looking forward to the end-of-summer movies, half of you don't really care.

125 - Brought to you by Don

This week's show is brought to you by Don Guarisco, but he doesn't know it.  Count Vardulon and DM dig into some 80s gems and complain about terrible movie trailers--are they more terrible or just as terrible as the films they advertise?  Other issues addressed this week include James Spader's ability to menace teen-aged girls, how bullying leads to Satanism, and the greatest falling-off-a-balcony-onto-a-car stunt ever.

Poll Results: Are Stephen King movies getting better or worse?  Tie for worse and neither better nor worse.  Winner is IT completely traumatized me as a child.
