102 - BitchFest!

Bitch, bitch, bitch.  Seriously.  This week your friends Count Vardulon and the Divemistress take a close look at bitches and bitches who bitch about them.  It might be their least-empowered episode yet as they tackle two movies that try and fail to be feminist or post-feminist, and a third that fails at being anything at all.  Bitchin'!

Poll results: The question was, "Should Lifetime be tackling darker content?" The unanimous answer was, "Why are you watching Lifetime to being with?"  As a result, the DM pledges to stop watching movies on Lifetime.

101 - The Movie Just Happened

This week your friends Count Vardulon and the Divemistress take on three very different films.  Drive-in Massacre proves to be kind of a mess, and Zatoichi proves to be kind of amazing.  The Count and the DM have two very different theories as to what exactly is going on in After.Life which only goes to show how poorly written it is.  Join them as they debate whether they should watch the Canadian/American Being Human, and stay to find out why the DM though it would be a good idea to watch something on the Lifetime channel.

Poll results: Last week's poll was the least popular in all of TheAvod's history; there's not much point in releasing the results.

100 - Episode 100

Finally, unbelievably, it's TheAvod's 100th episode!  Tune in to hear past guests laud and praise Count Vardulon and The Divemistress, and stay to listen to musings on whether or not At The Mountains of Madness will actually happen.  In an effort to set the standard for the next 100 shows, the Count and the DM fulfill your requests and watch And Soon the Darkness and Platoon of the Dead.

Poll results: Just over half of you believe that psychological thrillers are horror movies.  Twenty-five percent of you don't, and a handfull of you just don't care.

There can be only one. Except there's like three sequels.
